Prague
Prague
is a stunningly beautiful city. Its
rich architecture reveals the work of many nationalities that have
lived in the city during its long
history. Prague was a cultural and commercial focal point for nearly
a thousand years, and its architecture reflects German, Italian,
Bohemian, and Flemish artistic movements. Prague has always been
a vital political,
cultural, and economic center. Arched stone bridges, secluded alleyways
and thick river fog creates an unforgettable atmosphere.
From time to time you will stumble upon an old pub or a bakery that
hasn’t essentially changed during the last couple of hundred years.
Spring and fall are the best for visiting Prague because you will
avoid crowds of tourists who usually visit the city during the summer
and at the same time enjoy warm and sunny weather. We don’t recommend
visiting Prague in the winter. The best way to get around the city
is by public transportation. Prague has a complex system of metro
lines, buses and trams, which will get you about anywhere in the
city. Parking in the downtown can be a little bit challenging. Overall,
the most enjoyable way to see Prague is to get around on foot.
